Corporate Social Responsibility

Verger Delporte is an active member of the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) and partners with Abudhabi’s Tadweer and Mersat waste transport LLC to ensure responsible disposal and/or recycle of the company’s waste.

At Verger Delporte, we go the extra mile to improve consumer trust and brand sentiment by employing commendable CSR initiatives. Our commitment towards the community and the environment reflects in the following CSR initiatives that we were happy to be a part of:

  • Participation in the yearly “UAE Clean Up Drive” in coordination with Emirates Environmental Group (EEG)
  • In co-ordination with the Ministry of Health, Verger Delporte organized and will continue to organize blood donation camp in its premises to stress upon the importance of taking part in health programs to save the lives of others.
  • Active participation in the “Tree planting” activity in the yearly environmental recycling initiatives (Paper, Plastics and Toner Recycling).
  • Ensure that all scrap metal, whether base or precious, is recycled by a certified scrap merchant / environmental service provider.
  • Adopts responsible management practices that are aimed to reduce the quantity of wastes disposed. To do this, the company has adapted strategies for waste avoidance, re-use and recycling.
  • Ensure that all paper and cardboard waste is separated for collection by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) / Environmental Service Provider.
  • Encourage employees to choose environmentally sustainable methods of transport to and from work. And reduce its carbon footprint by limiting the number of programmed scheduled supply runs.
